Disney World part 3

Cooling off!

Lily did a great job at avoiding the water ;-)

Lily and Bailey were lucky enough to be chosen to be characters in Story time with Belle.  Lily was the father Maurice and Bailey was the tea cup Chip.  They both did an amazing job :-)

This video is one of my favorites and I love to hear all the people in the background when Bailey sits down with Belle say "aw!!!"  She did that with Every princess it melted my heart every time!

Jason met Captain Jack Sparrow and took the pirate oath

Gross! Is the only word I can think of when I see this picture.  Yes, that is a cheeseburger on Krispy Kreme donuts.  :-p

Can you tell Brad really like it? I a surprised he kept it down!

Disney World part 2

At Hollywood Studios the kids signed up to do Jedi training and fight Darth Vadar.  This was such a cool experience for Jason.  I am glad he did it.  I didn't really know about it and wasn't planning on signing him up but his cousin Sam and Lily really wanted to do it and had been planning on it for a while so Jason went to the park early with them that day and they got him signed up.  Thank Goodness! He talks about it every day.  The video at the bottom is a little long but it is very entertaining!! The kids are so cute and the Jedi master really did pick on our kids quite a bit.  :-)

Disney 2013 part 1

This was such an amazing vacation.  Our first week we spent it at Disney World.  The crowds were low and the weather perfect.  We were able to get a lot done and see a lot of the characters.  The kids had such a great time hanging out with their cousins.  I am going to keep the writing to a minimum and let you enjoy the pictures :-)

Update

At the beginning of April we moved down to Lewisville Texas. It was a long drive but we made it and we are so happy to be here.  We love the area we are in and our ward is great.  We have met some great people and feel so welcome.  I think Jason is finally starting to understand we will not be going back to Denver.
Texas weather has actually been pretty amazing.  I was expecting it to be much warmer but we have had some pretty cool days and just beautiful weather.  I think it is finally starting to warm up and now we are getting a bunch of thunderstorms.
The whole month of  April just flew by.  I was planning and preparing all of us to go to Disney World and a Disney cruise.  But some other exciting things happened.  I unpacked, we bought a new couch and love seat, I signed Jason up for preschool this fall, and we were happy to find out we are pregnant.  Baby Barrett #3 will be here November 6th.  Well, that is the due date so we will see.  I don't usually make it that long.  I actually found out I was pregnant when we lived in Denver.  We were keeping it a secret because we wanted to tell my parents in person at Disney World. We found out when I was about 4 weeks and I am now 17 weeks.  We have never waited that long to tell people.  It was so worth it! :-)
That is just about everything that has happened.  We got home fro Disney on Saturday and took a couple of days to recover.  I will have a few Disney posts. But just for fun here is a little sneak peak

A quick trip to Texas

Over Valentines Day weekend we took a quick trip to Dallas to check things out and look at areas we wanted to live in and hopefully find an apartment.  It was a fun successful trip.

I have said this so many times but I seriously have the most amazing kids in the car.  We have done quite a bit of traveling since both of them were born and I am sure that has a lot to do with it but they seriously never cry or complain.  As long as they have snacks movies and little activities they are good to go.
Going out for our Valentines Day dinner

I am so lucky this guy is my valentine every year!

While we were down there we met up with a friend of Brad's that he used to work with and we all went out for dinner.  They chose an amazing BBQ place called Hard Eight.  Such a fun atmosphere where you order your meat by the pound.  Very casual with fun country music playing.

It was such a fun trip!

A little bit of catch up!

Things have been a little bit crazy here.  We have recently moved to Texas.  Before I get to that post I want to do a little bit of catch up.

So, while we were in Utah for Christmas we left the kiddos with Brad's family and we did a mini vaca just the two of us.  We went up to Salt Lake City for a couple of days.  We mostly just did stuff we did when we were single.  We went to a couple of movies.  Did some nice dinners.  Went shopping.  It was such a nice break and very nice to have that time just the two of us!

I love this man so much! He is not bad to look at either :-)
Temple Square.  We drove around for about 15 minutes looking for a parking spot and eventually gave up but we got this pretty picture.
This was our delicious dessert at Tucanos.  Best dessert I have ever had!

Once we got home we got to try out all of our fun Christmas presents.
 Kids playing with their easel.
I am trying out my new stone plate making some homemade pizza. Yum!

Before we moved some of our really good friends the Stephens moved all the way to Maryland.  Jason had such an amazing friendship with Elena and we were so sad to see them leave but excited for them and all their new adventures.

Helping Natalie clean and pack up. (For those who read this Natalie is the one in the glasses)  Such a sweet person! I am so lucky to have met her and have her as a friend.

At the beginning of February me and the kids got to visit my sister-in--law who had just had her first baby.  He is just darling.  Such a good baby. He was so little then.  Not so much anymore.  I am amazed every time I see him on skype or in pictures how much he has grown.
