Happy Birthday to Jason!

yesterday was Jasons 1st birthday. I cant believe he is 1 already. This age is So much fun and i have a feeling its only going to get better! On saturday we had a little party for Jason. We had some friends from our church come over and play and have some cake. Here are some pictures from over the weekend.

Walking

So Jason is walking... he has been walking for a few weeks now but i think he has got it down pretty good now! He walks more than he crawls now so it is exciting and i think he enjoys is a lot.

the past month

So here are a few pictures of what has been going on the past month.

As i was doing my hair Brad and Jason joined me in the bathroom and Jason started playing with the shower curtain rod and before we knew it he was hanging on it like a monkey... he is a strong little guy!

Saturday was Brads Birthday so we went to the Zoo.

Jason really enjoyed some of the animals... it was fun to see him get excited... when the animal would come up to the glass he wanted to pet it so badly!

For Thanksgiving he headed down to Colorado Springs to have dinner with my Aunt, Uncle , cousins and my Granny. It was so nice to be with family and we had a great time.

I have been wanting to decorate for christmas since the day after Halloween but everyone told me not to but finally i broke down... we decided to the day before thanksgiving.

I dont usually put total nude shots of Jason on here but i thought this was too cute... his too favorite things being naked and playing in the dish washer.

I just thought this was a cute little pic of him. He is getting so big. He is almost 1 year old and he is walking, standing up on his own, got his first hair cut, and getting into a lot of trouble! Good thing we love him so much :-)

Halloween

So this year for Halloween we went to a friends house for a party and we didnt have costumes that matched so we decided the day of that we would go to walmart and find something and while we were there we decided that Jason and Brad would be basketball players and i would be a ref. It was fun to get a little creative and it didnt cost much at all so thats always nice!

snow days!

The past couple of days we have been getting a lot of snow! Yeah thats right Snow... and it is still October... i feel like we should be decorating for Christmas and we haven't even had Halloween yet! To tell you the truth i am enjoying it Very much... Brad got to come home early yesterday and was able to stay home all day today! Here are a few pictures of how much snow we have been getting and it is still lightly snowing.

Trip to Indiana

These past couple of weeks Jason and I took a trip to Indiana while Brad went out of town for work. It was nice to spend time with my family and for them to get to see Jason. It is hard living so far away and being poor because we dont get to go out there very often.

TROUBLE is Jasons middle name!

Well now that Jason is Very mobile he is getting into things that he is not supposed to... I have been doing my best to baby proof the house. I have all the outlets covered, all breakables up high, cords where they cant be found... and most of all I try and make sure the bathroom door is shut at all times. Well some days i slip and forget to close it and this is what happens...

As we all know halloween is coming up and i had the hardest time trying to figure out what Jason was going to be. We thought about a monkey, a monster, a pirate, and a few more. Then the other day i found this costume and thought it fit him perfectly. Jason is a very laid back and happy little boy and what better to be for halloween than Winnie the Pooh! :-)

9 Months

Wednesday Jason had his 9 month check-up and it went very well. He is now 21lbs, 29 inches and very healthy! As of right now Jason enjoys

*crawling all over the place and getting into things he is not supposed to and he is up to his knees know (finally)

*pulling himself up onto everything

*playing in the bathroom

*trying to crawl into the tub while i am showering

*eating! (anything)

*saying Everything but Mama

*his reflection

*clapping and waving

*he has 6 teeth but i dont think he enjoys them too much right now

*follows me around the house like a little puppy

*likes to sing with us

Those are just a few things he is keeping us busy with and we enjoy him more and more every single day! He is such a blessing in our lives.

Yesterday we went to the red vs rockies baseball game with our friends Todd and Melissa and had a fun time! It was a little weird cause we were kinda cheering for the Reds because my parents are big time fans and they bought Jason his cute reds outfit! and the Reds lost but it was still fun!
