Children for Sale!

Okay, they aren't really for sale. Yesterday was just one of those day. For some reason they were extra whiny and we were about to go crazy! Brad mentioned making them sit in their own individual circles and they wouldn't be able to leave and bother each other. Well, Jason really liked this idea and kept asking for his circle. So I got a few blankets and made them their own circles. Jason actually sat in his for 30 minutes and really enjoyed it.

Aren't they cute!
Careful!! This one looks cute but she has quite the bite. :-)

I love my family

I do love my family! You know what else I love? SPRING TIME! I am so excited for this warm weather. I am ready to get out of this house and soak up the sun. I know the kids are even more ready!

Jason is our little photographer. He loves to take pictures of all of us throughout the day.

Here I am on the cold day this past week. I think I had just woke up and was making breakfast...that's why I look so dang good :-)

This weekend was gorgeous too. So we headed over to the park with Daddy. We did lots of fun things like go down the slides, swing, played with new friends, and we got to watch some little boy play baseball. Jason wanted to join them so badly but he isn't quite big enough. Next summer!!!

I know, I know. She is just so dang cool! Well at least she thinks so :-)

What am I going to do...

With this crazy girl!

Bailey is sweet and spunky, loving and energetic, cuddly and rambunctious. She adds so much to this family. I can't not remember what life was like before she came to this world. She definitely keeps me on my toes and is a sassy little thing. However, Bailey is so sweet and nurturing. Throughout the day she will go around to each of us and make sure we know she loves us by giving hugs and kisses and telling us she loves us.

Having a girl has been fun. I have been doing some fun things with her hair and she actually sits still long enough for me to do it. So this is what it looks like right after I do it.

And this is what happens as soon as we get in the car.

Sweet Warm Weather

Oh warm weather how I have missed you! I have been checking the weather forecast everyday. Just hoping for a warm day and lucky for us today and tomorrow are 70 and gorgeous! With the beautiful weather we decided to head over to the zoo with some friends.

Jason and Elena in front of the Komodo Dragons.
There dragons were so active today. Here is one right up against the glass by Jason.
Strangely, Bailey would only get so close to it.
Look at these cute kiddos. Elena, Jason, Bailey, and Blake in front of the Alligators!
We finally met up with our other friends. So we had to play some drums. Mia, Jason, Elena, and Gavin.
It was a rough day for Bailey. She hates to sit in the stroller while every one else gets to walk. So I let her walk and she still isn't the best listener and she wiped out and scraped up her knee pretty bad. Luckily there was a nice lady with a first aid kit. So on our way out we rode the carousel.
Jason loves riding the aminals (no that is not a typo that is how he says animals even though I correct him every time. I think he does it on purpose now!)
After the zoo the kids were SO HUNGRY :-) so we stopped at McDonalds to get some chicken nuggets! Cute Jason and Elena enjoying their lunch.
I sure do love this girl. Especially in this dress! :-)

Update

I know I keep saying I am going to do better at blogging. With all the sickness and cold weather I feel like we haven't done a whole lot of blog worthy things but this blog is also my way to remember all fun things we get to experience and all of Jason and Baileys milestones. Since the new year we have hit a lot of them.

Jason has been pretty busy in the bathroom. He is officially potty trained. We had a few rough weeks but I can't remember the last time he had an accident. When we are at home he just goes to the bathroom and does his business without even telling me most of the time and when we are out and about he does an awesome job at letting me know when he needs to go. He is also sleeping much better. Jason has been a horrible sleeper since day one. Occasionally there are nights where we wakes up a couple of times but for the most part he sleeps through the night now! Jason is a smart boy. He knows all of his letter and the sounds they make. He knows his ABC's song. He loves primary and really enjoys singing time. He memorized his first book a little while ago Brown Bear, Brown Bear. He is such a good big brother and friend to Bailey.

Bailey is getting so big. Every day she says or does something that makes me realize she is not a baby anymore. She talks all the time. Most of it is still jibberish but she knows what she is talking about. She says mommy, daddy, Jason, Bailey, mamaw, papaw, nana, pappy, banana, cat, I love you, help you. She knows where her nose, eye, ears, and mouth are. She tells us after she has gone potty in her diaper (Jason never did that) Bailey is an awesome sleeper. She goes to bed at 8 and sleeps until 7 in the morning. She loves to sing and dance. She has a great sense of humor. She is always doing things to make us laugh and loves being the center of attention. Bailey recently lost her binky while we were at the zoo and we decided to see if she could do without before buying another one. She did awesome. She hasn't asked for it once.

As for any future children, that is still a ways away. Right now we are enjoying our family that we have right now. I am leaving the baby having up to my sisters and hopefully soon my sister-in-law :-) I can't wait to go to Indiana this summer and meet my new nieces Emma and Sophia.

I know that kids are way more interesting but Brad and I are doing great. We are still in love and happy as ever :-) Brad has been pretty busy with work and figuring out what his next steps are. He plays basketball a couple of times a week and stays busy being a human jungle gym. I have been busy with the kiddos and looking for a house. We are wanting to buy within the next year so now we are looking for the perfect house for us. I was getting back into running but I am a horrible treadmill runner so I am waiting for the weather to warm up a little and then I will get back into it and back into doing some races.

I will try and get some pictures up in the next couple of days.

Thanksgiving 2011

I know I have been kind of MIA in the blogging world. I just haven't been in the mood lately. I will stop being lazy and try and play some catch up. This year for Thanksgiving Brad's family were kind enough to come to us. On Thanksgiving Day the boys played some football in the morning.

Me and Brandi going to watch the guys play.
Jason looks a little surprised.

Look at that form.

We had such a great time. We are so thankful they could come out and spend time with us and I know Jason and Bailey enjoyed it the most! They love all their grandparents and anuts and uncles and cousins. They love their family so much. Everyday they are asking to go Utah to see Mamaw and Papaw or go to Indiana (IndiNana as Jason would say) to see Nana and Pappy. We are so grateful for our family's and wish we could be closer but maybe some day :-)

Well Hello Stranger

I know I know....I haven't posted in a coon's age! :-) Honestly, not a whole lot has been going on. Sure, with two kids every day life is pretty exciting but I am guessing that it is mostly just exciting to me. I just wanted to let you know I am still here and I didn't give up on the blogging world. There have been a couple of exciting things. First, Jason has been sleeping through the night. He had a couple of nights when he woke up once but for the most part he is doing great! Only took him three years! :-) Also, we recently had an apartment full of family for Thanksgiving. Brad's parents, his sister Brandi and her husband Zach, and his brother Scott all came to visit. We had such a great time spending time with all of them. It feels like every time we start to get comfortable here in Denver and we start to think about staying here long term we go see family and realize how important it is to us to live closer to them. Sadly, I did not take any pictures and I forgot to get the ones Sandy took. No worries. I will get them over Christmas break and have a huge long post to write. Yay! but untill then here is a sweet picture of my babies! Just so you he is hugging her not choking her :-)
