Dallas Color Run 2014

A while back a group of us girls signed up to do the color run here in Dallas.  I love signing up for races.  It is one way to really motivate me to get in shape and run every day.  Well of course Brad started traveling and I got a little sick like a month before the race.  I wasn't sure if I was going to go because the day before I felt awful but I woke up nice and early on Saturday and I felt great.  I am so glad I did because we had a blast! There were So many people so at times it was impossible to run but I was pretty happy that I did run the whole way.  It was a lot of fun to do it with a group of friends and have fun and be silly!

After the race we celebrated by throwing our own color and Kalli was kind enough to give me a mouth full! :-)
The kids didn't know what to think when I got home.  Jason would not come near me and Bailey just wanted to get the color on her! That pretty much sums up their personalities :-)

Catch Up!

Ever since we bought our house things have been so crazy! So this is just a quick catch up.  We have been busy with going to the park, having visitors, playing with friends, school and just spending time as a family.

Life has been great.  We love living in Texas.  We love our house. The kids are getting big Way too fast.

Jason is doing really well in school.  He has made some really great friends and he is having a lot of fun learning and growing.  He has started reading on his own and does awesome!  He loves his Legos still!  We have a kindergarten kickoff in a couple of weeks and I still can't believe it! It is hard to think about having a kid in school.  But I know he will love it.

Bailey is a free spirit.  She is sweet and sassy.  She loves all things girly but loves to play rough with her brother.  Bailey loves to change her outfit 100 times a day which I just Love (NOT) She loves to help out in the kitchen and is such a good big sister.  Some times she loves him a little too much :-)

Parker is getting too big too fast! I keep telling him to just stop growing but he never listens! He is such a sweet baby...some times a little needy but he is a baby! He is a great eater.  A decent sleeper.  He could watch his brother and sister play all day! He rolls all over the place and tries to crawl a little.  I am getting ready to start him on solids and hopefully that will help him sleep through the night.  He has started talking a lot and it it so sweet! Parker smiles all the time and is just the happiest baby and we just love him like crazy around here.

Brad and I are doing great.  It is his slow time for work so we have been seeing a lot of him lately and we Love it.  He has been playing a lot of basketball and if he is not working or playing basketball we are working on the kids swing set.  It is a beast and with three kids we get to work on it for about 10 minutes at a time.  But they will have so much fun with it once it is finished.  I have been busy with the house and kids.  I am trying to get back into running.  House work, yard work, decorating has been much more difficult than I thought it would be but it has been a lot of fun figuring it all out.

2 Months

My little baby is not so little anymore :-( He is getting too big too fast! Parker is very alert. Some things he loves
when people talk to him
his swing
watching his brother and sister play
the tv
being outside
being held
eating
taking a bath
his binky

He does not like
his carseat
having his nose sucked

He is such a happy and content little baby.  He hardly ever cries or complains.  He is so smiley and happy.  I could not ask for a better baby.

Christmas 2013

Jason is our little chess wizard.  He loves playing games and caught on pretty quick.  He likes to teach people how to play.  He tried teaching Bailey but she could care less about it :-)

This Christmas we decided to go to Indiana.  This was the first Christmas there since we have been married.  Brad traveled the first couple weeks in December so I thought it would be fun to take the kids and go out a couple weeks early.

Nana and Parker

Luckily the snow went away after a few days

Parker loved the tree.

His cute church outfit.  Makes him look like a little old man.

We had a good time decorating the tree with everyone

Parker and Pappy

One night we went down to Louisville and did the Lights under Louisville.  It was a pretty cool lights display under ground.
