the past couple of weeks

So sorry it has been a while since i have posted... honestly i just havent been in the mood to post but i have a lot of fun pictures of the past couple of weeks. So recently we went camping with our good friends Todd and Melissa and it was a blast... very cold... but so much fun. We found an awesome camping spot and we didnt even have to pay for it.

A couple of weeks ago Brads sister Brandi got married so we took a quick trip to Utah. After the wedding we went to Sand Hallow to enjoy the sun and water.

Jason recently made a new best friend.... his reflection. He can seriously sit infront of the mirror for 30 mintues and just talk and smile and give kisses to his reflection it is the funniest!

Someone call 911

Yesterday Brad and I deicided to take Jason downtown to the firefighter museum. It was free and there were a lot of activities going on. Jason really enjoyed himself and of course we had a blast getting to take all those fun pictures of jason and us.

After the firefighter museum we decided to head over to the Dever art museum. The first day of the month is free so we thought we would check is out.... turns out we are not that intersted in art. We went to one gallery and it was very strange... like naked statues and paintings and pictures of people doing some weird things... so we decided to leave and take a walk through the greek theater and this really pretty park with lots of gorgeous flowers!

Camping Trip

This weekend was very exciting. It was Jason's first camping trip and he Loved it!!! From the time we got there he had a smile on his face. We were able to meet my aunt Betsy, uncle kevin, their kids, my granny, elizabeth and her kids up there. We went to Pike National Forest. It was so beautiful. The drive was really amazing. I have a little bit of a fear driving in the mountains like that but the scenery on the way to the campsite was awesome! Luckily it was still light out when we got there so we set up our tent and enjoyed our time just relaxing. It is so nice to get away from the city chaos and go up to the mountains where all you can do it relax and enjoy nature.

I had every intension of setting up the tent but i think about 5 seconds after i had layed it out Brad and my aunt Elizabeth took over and finished it :-)

This is when we just arrived and this is what Jason looked like till the minute he fell asleep. He just loved camping. Unfortunately he did not sleep great along with everyone else we went camping with but he really enjoyed the time when he was awake. So our first camping experience with Jason was a success and we will defintely be doing it again soon!!

Garden of the Gods

This week me and Jason went down to Colorado Springs to hang out with my family. We went to Garden of the Gods and had a picnic and walked around a little too look at all pretty mountains and red rock. It was a lot of fun to get out and enjoy nature.

Weekend Fun!

This past weekend we had a lot of fun. We got to go down to Colorado Springs to the Pikes peak or Bust Rodeo. It was a lot of fun to go and spend time with family and watch all the cool cowboys!

This is a picture of my beautiful Aunt Betsy. She sang the National Anthem before the Rodeo started. She did a wonderful job and it was really neat because two fighter planes flew over while she was singing. Very cool!
